INFORMATION

Field Day/Workshop on Thursday-Friday. Registration fee is $152.00 for all courses on Thursday and Friday, including breaks, luncheon, and reception on Thursday night.

Wednesday classes, November 7. Two hour classes on Fumigation, Public Health, Core, or L&O and an hour of GHP on Wednesday are $60.00 for one, two, or all classes. Preregister for these classes.

Late registration (postmarked after October 26, 2007) is $182.00. Confirmation will be sent for registrations received before October 26; cancellations must be made before Oct. 30 for refund.

Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Comfort Suites, 1026 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32301, telephone 850/224-3200. Rooms will be held at this rate through Oct. 24, 2007: $89.00. Indicate FAMU Entomology for rates when registering. Note that this is a non-smoking hotel; call for other suggestions.

Parking at Civic Center is free with pass (pass sent with registration confirmation). Otherwise, there is $5.00/day fee.

Golf on Wednesday, Nov. 7, for exhibitors or other participants is being organized by W. A. Cauthen, Oldham Chemicals, 640 1st Ave. N., Birmingham, AL 35203 (205/251-3190).

Continuing Education or Recertification Credits

Alabama: 10 points.
District of Columbia.
Florida: CORE, GHP, TER, FUM, L&O, Public Health.
Georgia Structural Pest Control Commission: up to 10 hours HPC (1 in IPM), or 6 WDO (2 in PTX), or 2 FUM; Pesticide Division, up to 8 hours #24 (O&T), 10 in #31, 11 in #35, 4 in #38.
Louisiana: recertification in General Pest, Commercial Vertebrate, and Termite Control.
Maryland: 8 credits in 3A,B; 7A,B,D,E; 8; or 10.
Mississippi: recertification in III, VII1, VII2, VII4, VIII, and X.
New York: credits in Core, 3(a), 7(a,b,c,f), 8.
North Carolina Pesticide Division: O&T, Public Health.
South Carolina.
Tennessee.
Virginia: recertification credit (6 hours of classes) in 3 (A,B), 7 (A,B,C), 8, 10.
