Featured Ephemeropterist: A Veritable Klugefest
Our featured Ephemeropterist is Dr Nikita Julievich Kluge of St Petersburg State University. No one in recent years has engendered more spirited discussion of mayfly systematics and taxonomy than Nikita and his non-traditional ideas of mayfly systematics. A forth-coming book is guaranteed to enliven this debate even more, even while contributing a large body of morphological and systematic data to the study of mayflies.

Dr Kluge has published a number of important papers on mayflies which should be in everyone's library.
