Loans, exchanges, visits
FAMU is primarily concerned with conserving all historical collections for research or identification purposes for scientists anywhere in the in the world, and publications based on the collections are usually done in collaboration with others. Several problems concerning identification of species still need to be resolved, such as that shown below. FAMU invites and welcomes visitors and can provide temporary workspace for visiting scientists. In recent years, 16 visitors from six countries have worked in these collections, and we have inquiries from many others. Please make arrangements by contacting the faculty or staff.
